About the Role:
You’ll provide hands-on support in reviewing equipment specs, debugging, installation, and technician training. You will work closely with automation specialists, plant maintenance, and engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
Review and verify bid specs, design drawings, and equipment functionality
Install, debug, and support startup of assembly equipment
Perform vendor equipment buyoffs and adjustments
Train local maintenance teams
Troubleshoot and program Toyopuc & Allen-Bradley PLCs
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards
Work in various environments including confined spaces and elevated areas
Required Skills & Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with PLC programming/troubleshooting (Toyopuc, Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley)
Electrical controls and industrial circuits knowledge
Experience with equipment installation and confirmation
Ability to read mechanical/electrical schematics
2-year technical degree or equivalent experience
Ability to travel internationally up to 50%
Comfortable with manual tasks (lifting, standing, climbing ladders)
Qualifications:
Industrial maintenance experience (2+ years)
Knowledge of industrial robot or AGV/AMR programming
Experience with safety scanner programming
Familiarity with networking protocols like EthernetIP, FLNet, ProfiNet
Automotive manufacturing experience
