Join Our Caring Community and Prioritize Health As a Senior AI/ML DevOps Engineer at Humana, you will take the lead in designing, deploying, and managing AI/ML models and systems. Collaborating closely with data scientists, software engineers, and various stakeholders, you will ensure the effective implementation of cutting-edge AI/ML solutions. Your primary focus will be on optimizing the deployment processes, ensuring scalability, reliability, and ongoing performance monitoring of AI/ML models. Key Responsibilities Develop and enforce policies and standards across deployment pipelines to ensure consistency and efficiency.

Facilitate the adoption of best practices in DevOps governance, enhancing the software delivery process and reliability.

Establish and monitor metrics based on DORA (DevOps Research and Assessment) to gauge performance and find improvement opportunities.

Create and maintain dashboards that provide clarity on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.

Advocate for a DevOps mindset, promoting agility and efficiency within the software delivery process.

Identify and implement methods to accelerate software delivery while maintaining quality and reliability.

Work collaboratively with development, operations, and security teams to align with industry standards and governance practices.

Lead initiatives to automate and enhance CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.

Mentor and support a team of DevOps engineers, nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.

Concentrate on essential DevOps pillars, including continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), quality, security, compliance, metrics, and reporting.

Ensure that security and regulatory requirements are met throughout the software delivery process.

Utilize metrics and KPIs to promote performance enhancements and transparency in the DevOps function.

Utilize Your Skills for a Meaningful Impact Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

10+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, emphasizing governance, cloud infrastructure, and automation.

Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Strong familiarity with CI/CD tools including Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or relevant alternatives.

Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.

Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in a relevant field.

Experience in LLM model DevOps.

Knowledge of API and AI gateway management.

Additional Information For remote or hybrid employees, a self-provided internet service must meet minimum criteria: a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps; wireless, wired cable, or DSL is preferred. Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections require leadership approval. Employees in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will receive bi-weekly payments for internet expenses. Humana will provide telecommunication equipment that meets business demands. It's essential to work from a dedicated space that minimizes disruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information. Travel: This position is remote, but occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be necessary. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours/week) employment. Pay may vary based on location and individual skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications. $129,300 - $177,800 per year. Eligible for bonus incentive plans based on performance.
