Summary:
Join a dynamic and technically skilled team as a Partner Engineer focused on integrating cutting-edge applications and services onto Meta's AR/VR devices. This highly technical role involves working closely with prominent Meta partners to ensure their apps are seamlessly onboarded onto platforms like Meta Quest headsets and RayBan Meta Glasses. The Partner Engineer will engage in external-facing work, collaborating with partners to enhance their app functionality and compliance with Meta's standards. Internally, you'll work with various cross-functional teams to provide expertise on architectures, requirements, and upcoming changes, while also creating and maintaining documentation. Key Responsibilities: Assist partners in integrating their apps onto the Meta family of AR/VR devices. Utilize technical and interpersonal skills to foster robust relationships with partners and address their technical and business needs. Collaborate closely with partner technical teams to diagnose issues in their apps and recommend effective solutions. Develop a comprehensive understanding of Meta devices and Reality Labs platforms, APIs, and implementations. Identify and communicate gaps in functionality, working with product and engineering teams to prioritize and enhance features. Serve as a technical expert, influencing both external partners and internal teams. Ensure the development of high-quality documentation and best practices for partner collaboration. Engage in prototyping new app integrations and features on Meta devices. Document and share insights from project completions with the team. Be available for partner meetings and engagements, traveling 5-10% of the time. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. 3+ years of relevant industry experience in software engineering or partner/sales engineering. Proficient in Android development with experience in various SDKs, frameworks, and libraries. Experience working with device-level services such as SDKs and casting. Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, and PHP. Familiarity with the AR/VR product development lifecycle. Aptitude for tackling complex and ambiguous technical challenges. Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication, analytical, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Passion for AR/VR technology and awareness of the latest hardware and development trends. Expertise in developing AR/VR applications for virtual or mixed reality headsets and glasses. Compensation:
