Join eero as a skilled WiFi Software Development Engineer dedicated to enhancing connectivity efficiency and the overall experience of our innovative devices. You'll play a key role in improving mesh and client connectivity, designing new features, and ensuring users enjoy an exceptional networking experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Enhance client connectivity and mesh experiences for whole home connectivity products.
Elevate client connectivity performance to new heights.
Design and implement advanced roaming features.
Analyze connectivity issues and propose comprehensive solutions.
Deep dive into embedded system internals.
Enhance wireless drivers, firmware, and hostap components.
Lead initiatives for testing improvements and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with core operating system, mobile, and cloud teams to deliver features seamlessly.
Conduct maintenance work, including regulatory settings, board settings, tools, and scripts.
A Day in the Life:
As part of the WiFi team, you'll gain hands-on experience with hardware while developing software solutions. You’ll engage with various internal and external teams and have the opportunity to work daily on critical technologies like roaming, routing, and connectivity performance.

The WiFi team is committed to providing the most secure, fast, and reliable WiFi router systems to our customers. We innovate on behalf of our customers and work closely to deliver exceptional user experiences, owning the design, development, and quality assurance processes with dedicated labs.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of professional software development experience.
2+ years of experience in design or architecture of new and existing systems.
Proficient in at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience throughout the full software development life cycle.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
