In this exciting corporate role, you will collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, scientists, planners, designers, and technologists. Our projects span various sectors, including government, transportation, real estate, and more, with a shared goal of enhancing communities, fostering economic growth, and promoting environmental sustainability. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Leading big data projects in areas such as planning, transportation safety, traffic operations, and transit/rail. Developing and maintaining dashboards and websites to support large databases and facilitate complex queries. Conducting exploratory data analysis to uncover valuable insights from both qualitative and quantitative datasets. Mining complex structured and unstructured data sets using advanced statistical methods for data-driven decision making. Identifying new uses for existing data sources and exploring opportunities for collecting new data. Employing machine learning and statistical methods to prepare data for predictive and prescriptive modeling. Designing, developing, testing, and validating advanced algorithms for optimal data use. Communicating insights and strategic solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders through compelling data visualizations. Leading and mentoring a project team, including training less experienced staff. Key Skills and Attributes: Experience with data management and reporting technologies, including Esri products (ArcGIS Online), Power BI, and more. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to distill complex issues into actionable solutions. Familiarity with Low-Code/No-Code tools and databases such as SQL Server or Oracle. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, adaptable to all levels of the organization. A proactive approach to learning new skills and datasets relevant to the AEC industry. Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in advanced analytics within a professional context. A Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in Planning, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction with a focus on transportation agencies. Advanced knowledge of relevant technologies, including Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and statistical analysis.
