We are excited to announce an opening for an Electronic Security Solutions Architect (TSA) within our Engineering Center of Excellence. This key role supports our sales organization by crafting innovative electronic security solutions tailored to client needs and plays an essential part in shaping strategy, design, and technology support for regional and national teams.
Key Responsibilities: Provide expert guidance to facilitate customer discussions regarding electronic security solutions. Coordinate communication and activities between sales teams, local and regional resources, and the engineering department before and after sales. Serve as the expert on systems integrations and field applications for the sales team. Lead and mentor teams in technology, costing, engineering, and implementation. Conduct customer consultations and present demonstrations of suitable technologies for their needs. Represent Securitas at various events and tradeshows, such as GSX, ISC, NRF, RILA, and more. Additional Responsibilities: Conduct detailed survey assessments to aid in designing and estimating solutions for customers. Engineer value-driven solutions that meet customer requirements and support sales efforts. Support estimating engineers by developing and collaborating on bills of materials, scope of work, and device placement drawings. Assist in preparing sales proposals with necessary technical information and ensuring their accuracy and adherence to standards. Work with product management to address product defects and provide feedback for improvements. Assist field teams by selecting standard technology for installations and supporting them with design and solution understanding. Guide customers through migration and implementation of new technology, including project planning and technology selection. Support sales teams with technology-related inquiries and assist in understanding the necessary solutions to finalize proposals and specifications. Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in electronic security. 5+ years of experience in designing electronic security systems, including IDS, ACS, CCTV/VMS, Visitor Management, and Intercom Systems. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience. A valid state driver’s license without restrictions. Extensive knowledge of integrated electronic security solutions and design principles. Understanding of Fire Alarm and Life Safety Codes. Familiarity with computer systems and networking. Ability to read and interpret electronic security specifications and perform equipment counts. Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with internal teams and clients. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines. Preferred Skills: Experience in consultative sales and field applications. Knowledge of Systems Integration and Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) systems. Proficiency in tools like Bluebeam and Visio. Familiarity with high-security credentials and certifications. Understanding of structured cabling and NFPA code compliance.
