Overview:

Join our dynamic team as a Systems Administrator, where you will provide essential support for core system applications. This role involves operational tasks such as monitoring system resources and performing routine maintenance in support of 24/7 life cycle applications, alongside on-call support. The position offers a hybrid work environment with periodic on-site customer activities. Key Responsibilities: Support and manage the Background Investigation System in both Production and Test environments. Validate developers' deployments across environments. Assist in resolving ServiceNOW tickets assigned to our group. Collaborate with other administrators to monitor multiple applications and systems, ensuring files are processed correctly. Document standard operating procedures effectively. Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and remediate issues promptly. Position Requirements: Administer and maintain computer networks and computing environments, including hardware, systems software, and applications. Plan and implement network/system security measures to safeguard data, software, and hardware. Conduct regular monitoring and analysis for short- and long-term planning of in-house systems. Prepare and maintain operational documentation, including instructions. Write or modify scripts to enhance performance and automate tasks. Recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, assessing required hardware or software. Willingness to work on-site as required at various DCSA locations (Quantico, VA; Ft Meade, MD; Boyers PA). Daily Activities: Monitor systems for successful file processing. Check and respond to ServiceNOW tickets for ongoing requests. Communicate updates and status on work activities across shifts. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience in system administration, or equivalent experience. Active Security+ certification is a must. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal oversight. Three years of experience resolving production application issues. Strong background in Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop and Linux OS environments. Experience in supporting Oracle SQL in a production setting. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Flexibility for shift work, including third-shift responsibilities. Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance. Company Overview:
