About the Team : The Reltio TechOps team excels in delivering top-notch DevSecOps capabilities and enhancing the developer experience. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in scaling our cloud-based services through platform refinement, robust automation, and continuous delivery. You’ll assist in setting and executing strategic goals to elevate our DevSecOps maturity.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Crossplane, Terraform, and Helm Charts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and InfoSec, to define platform requirements and priorities.
Streamline the software delivery process through effective collaboration with development, operations, and quality assurance teams.
Monitor and optimize the performance and cost of DevOps tools to ensure reliability and scalability.
Develop zero downtime maintenance strategies for Kubernetes clusters and cloud resources.
Evaluate industry trends, recommend new tools, and drive best practices in DevOps processes.
Mentor junior platform engineers, fostering their growth and development through guidance.
Support engineering and development teams by providing expertise on integrating with our internal platform and best practices.
Coordinate with security teams to incorporate security measures into our DevOps practices.
Document technical designs and procedures for knowledge maintenance and system integrity.
Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Automate existing processes using modern tools to eliminate toil.
Essential Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in a Cloud Engineer or similar role with a strong foundation in software development and infrastructure operations.
Proficient with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
Experience with declarative management tools like Terraform or Crossplane.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Skilled in scripting and programming with languages like Go, Python, or Bash.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or ArgoCD.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a proven track record in driving process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Grafana.
Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
