Join GovCIO as a Senior Security Engineer and be part of a transformative team dedicated to enhancing government IT systems. We are looking for experienced candidates with an active Secret clearance to support our DEA Bluestone program. Key Responsibilities: Foster a culture of security-first development and IT infrastructure. Develop and implement Cybersecurity and Information Assurance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Design a comprehensive security framework for Continuous Authority to Operate (ATO) based on NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) for both on-premise and hybrid cloud environments. Establish security standards to strengthen the IT environment and guide teams in their implementation. Engineer, implement, and monitor security measures that comply with and exceed FISMA High requirements. Ensure up-to-date security monitoring tools and profiles are maintained across development and infrastructure. Oversee security scanning and dependency checking tools within the CI/CD pipeline. Ensure optimal operation of intrusion prevention, detection, and monitoring tools. Lead initiatives as part of the Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) or its equivalent. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of IT security engineering experience or equivalent professional experience. Active Secret clearance is required. About Us:

The expected salary range for this position is between USD $143,230.00 and USD $178,500.00 per year. Actual base pay may vary based on various factors like market location, skills, education, and experience.
