Lead the transition of a prototype large language model (LLM) framework into production for thousands of users. As the lead system administrator, you will architect the infrastructure required to support a premier, enterprise-level frontier LLM, used by developers, analysts, and leadership at a critical defense organization. In this role, you will design and implement the infrastructure and supporting applications using AWS services. You'll be responsible for managing data flow, large-scale data storage and retrieval, elastic load balancing, and system metrics collection-ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability as the system moves to production. Check us out at . ----- Your contributions are - Design and estimate the infrastructure required to deploy the current LLM prototype and future versions on AWS - Implement and maintain the infrastructure according to the approved design - Support the development team through both development and deployment phases - Ensure infrastructure meets security and compliance requirements to maintain system trust Requirements for your new career - Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline - 14 years of experience in systems administration - AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (or comparable certification) - Experience standing up and maintaining a Kubernetes stack - Experience working through compliance certification for medium to large systems - Extensive experience with IT automation tools (Puppet, Ansible) - Experience leveraging infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) - Experience leveraging AWS services for load balancing, CI/CD, and orchestration - Experience standing up and leveraging system monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK) - Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins Benefits of becoming a Visionist: Your New Career - We are a 100% employee-owned company, so our employees see the benefit of their contributions and have a stake in our overall success! - Competitive 15% retirement contribution!
