Senior Software Development Engineer in Test
(SDET) and be a vital part of building the subscription capabilities that power Prime Video globally. We are looking for an experienced SDET to combine software development skills with quality engineering and help us create robust test automation frameworks that ensure our subscription services are reliable, scalable, and perform at their best. Key responsibilities include: Leading the design and evolution of our automated test framework to meet the complex needs of our diverse product portfolio. Collaborating with software engineering and quality assurance teams to find ways to improve test coverage and streamline workflows. Developing advanced test automation tools and integrations that enhance our software development speed and code quality. Staying current with the latest advancements in Machine Learning and identifying opportunities to implement new technologies in testing. Designing and developing test automation frameworks for mobile applications and cloud services using modern programming languages and AWS technologies. Architecting scalable test infrastructures utilizing CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and performance validation. Leading discussions on technical design and establishing testing strategies for complex distributed systems. Benchmarking our quality practices and recommending solutions for performance and resilience testing. Creating metrics collection systems to monitor test coverage and system performance. Providing technical leadership and mentoring team members on test automation best practices. We are looking for candidates with: 6+ years of professional software development experience focusing on test automation. 4+ years of experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using languages like Python, Java, or C++. Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience leading the development of large-scale, enterprise-level test automation frameworks. A proven history of driving process improvements to enhance test coverage and efficiency. A strong background in designing scalable, fault-tolerant automation infrastructure. Experience working with AI, ML systems, or LLMs and improving test optimization. Hands-on expertise in creating custom test automation tools to boost developer productivity.
