PTS is looking for a Project Executive to join a leading EPC in the energy sector to drive the full life cycle of projects across transmission, distribution, and substations. In this role the Project Executive will play a critical role in guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver power delivery projects safely, on-time, and within budget.
**This position can sit in Columbus, OH or Baltimore, MD.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead projects from initial pursuit through final close-out , managing integrated design-build (DB) and EPC teams across engineering, procurement, and construction disciplines.
Manage contracts, project schedules, budgets, and client relationships , maintaining an unwavering focus on safety, quality, and operational performance.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and coordination for project teams , ensuring effective collaboration and seamless field execution in alignment with project goals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders , fostering transparent communication and maintaining strong, trusting relationships.
Promote continuous improvement through value engineering, constructability reviews, and operational efficiency initiatives
aimed at optimizing project delivery.
Direct procurement activities, monitor schedule progress, manage submittals, and oversee payment approvals
for projects with complex, multi-discipline scopes.
Oversee final project turnover, warranty management, and post-project evaluations , applying lessons learned to enhance future project outcomes.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering (or related field experience)
10 years of EPC project management experience
Strong knowledge and understand of transmission, distribution, and substation construction projects
Strong background in managing large scale programs – estimation and scheduling through close-out
Experience working with programs such as Primavera P6, Procore, and JD Edwards
Ability to travel up to 75%
