We are seeking a skilled and experienced AWS Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and troubleshooting AWS services, including RDS, ECC, VPC, MQ, and APIs. This role is critical to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure, including RDS, ECC, VPC, MQ, and APIs.
· Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
· Implement and manage security measures to protect data and applications.
· Collaborate with development teams to design and deploy scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
· Automate routine tasks using scripting and AWS tools.
· Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and best practices.
· Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Proven experience as an AWS Administrator or similar role.
· Strong knowledge of AWS services, including RDS, ECC, VPC, MQ, and APIs.
· Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance.
· Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Attributes:
· AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator certification.
· Experience in the insurance industry or a similar field.
· Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
· In Houston, TX office 3 days per week
