As a data engineer, you will: Design and build robust data pipelines that convert complex advertising data into actionable insights. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists and Product Managers, to align technical solutions with business needs. Play a vital role in maintaining data governance and compliance, implementing sophisticated access controls, and ensuring data security. Optimize and enhance our existing systems to address growing data challenges. Create user-friendly data products that empower teams to make informed decisions through analytics and experimentation. Your expertise will enable you to tackle complex challenges in data processing and analytics, including: Real-time data processing and ensuring data accuracy across platforms. Handling exponential growth in data volume effectively. Writing clean, efficient code to manage massive amounts of unstructured data. As a member of the Prime Video Advertising's Data, Measurement and Insights team, you'll be positioned at the forefront of transforming how Amazon harnesses its massive advertising data. This role offers the unique opportunity to directly influence strategic decision-making through the development of innovative measurement solutions and analytical frameworks. ### Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of data engineering experience. Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines. Proficiency with SQL. Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language (Python, Java, Scala, NodeJS). Mentoring team members on best practices. ### Preferred Qualifications: Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR. Experience operating large data warehouses. This position will remain posted until filled. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets, with a base pay range from $139,100/year to $240,500/year depending on location and experience.
