As a hands-on Senior Business Intelligence Architect, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge business intelligence solutions that empower data-driven decision-making for our clients. This role goes beyond strategy; we seek a technical expert excited to engage directly with data, build scalable solutions, and solve complex problems. You will work collaboratively with business stakeholders and offshore development teams to translate data needs into impactful BI solutions, including data models, data pipelines, and dynamic dashboards. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement business intelligence and data analytics solutions, such as data warehouses and visualizations. Develop advanced solutions that exceed standard dashboards, including automation and embedded analytics. Create and optimize data models to ensure reporting and analytics accuracy. Build robust data processing capabilities to integrate data from various cloud platforms and third-party sources. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical BI solutions promptly. Work with offshore developers to ensure alignment on architecture and standards. Monitor BI performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for scalability. Evaluate and implement new BI tools to ensure our solutions remain cutting-edge. Enhance BI platform usability through training, documentation, and mentorship. Lead a team of BI developers while also contributing as an individual expert. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or related fields with 3-5 years in a BI Architect role. Expertise in BI tools like Power BI or Tableau; strong SQL skills and familiarity with ETL tools. Knowledge of relational databases and modern data warehousing solutions. Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Relevant certifications in BI or cloud platforms are a plus. Willingness to travel for client interactions. Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Located in Chicago, IL, and open to working from our Chicago office as needed.
