As part of our Ads Infra team, you will be instrumental in matching ad opportunities with campaigns in an efficient, scalable, and privacy-centric manner, ensuring excellent ROI for advertisers and a high-quality experience for consumers. This is a chance to design and own significant systems, working alongside experienced engineers in a fast-paced environment. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and developing network and infrastructure systems from scratch. Building and advocating for team processes grounded in software development best practices. Creating innovative tools, frameworks, and automations for adoption across Amazon Ads. Writing clean, maintainable code and participating in peer code reviews. Optimizing client and server systems for performance, maintainability, and scalability. Mentoring team members and contributing to their career development. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of professional software development experience. 2+ years of experience in design or architecture of systems. Proficiency in at least one programming language. 3+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services or equivalent cloud services. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the complete software development lifecycle. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Familiarity with Kubernetes is a plus.
