As part of our Professional Services team, you will engage in diverse projects for customers and partners, drawing from extensive AWS customer experiences and maintaining a relentless focus on delivering success for our clients. In this role, you will: Enjoy working with Intelligence Community customers and possess a passion for educating and training them on cloud solutions. Leverage your understanding of large-scale computing solutions and participate in deep architecture discussions. Regularly engage in deep-dive education and design exercises to develop innovative AWS-based solutions. To qualify for this position, you must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. You will also need to opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which you perform AWS work. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 3+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on distributed applications. 1+ years of experience with software development tools and methodologies. A technical degree or equivalent experience. Current US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking. Experience in technology/software sales consulting or related skills. Proven track record in architecting, deploying, and operating solutions built on AWS. Experience transforming legacy solutions to the cloud. Experience managing highly available data center operations with a focus on infrastructure robustness. Knowledge of Federal Government security requirements such as ICD 503, FISMA, and FedRAMP. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,200/year in our lowest geographic market to $204,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, Amazon offers a comprehensive compensation package that may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
