We are seeking a

Senior Project Manager

to join our New Rochelle, NY team! Come join us!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Senior Project Manager shall have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of responsible experience performing Program Management and Construction Management duties for PM/CM contracts with agencies such as MTA, Amtrak, NJTransit, PANYNJ, NYSDOT, or similar. This position will be responsible for the successful oversight of a large Design-Build contract on behalf of the MTA.

Providing program oversight, leading large teams including subconsultants and working alongside staff at agencies delivering transportation infrastructure programs.

Providing leadership to the team including the commercial manager, project controls manager, construction manager, design compliance manager, quality manager, document control manager, and safety manager.

Determining resource needs for project assignments, staffing levels, skills, and schedule durations.

Developing, organizing, facilitating, and attending scheduled coordination meetings, and developing/directing action plans, providing oversight and accountability of actions to achieve delivery schedules.

Assuring that all applicable safety measures are in place.

Holding accountability for invoice accuracy and completion before billing.

Updating the existing Project Management Plans (PMP), Quality Management Plans (QMPs) and Construction Management Plans (CMPs) for major construction programs.

Assisting the client in the investigation and resolution of construction or quality related issues.

Performing or overseeing management system audits to verify compliance.

Minimum requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.

15+ years of experience working on major construction oversight projects, including projects larger than $100MM in construction value.

Experience with Amtrak, preferred.

Experience with MTA PMC contracts.

Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of New York.

Technical requirements:

Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to contribute effectively as part of a team involving staff, clients, and outside agencies.

Strong problem-solving, workload management, and organizational skills with limited supervision.

Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Access).

Other miscellaneous qualities:

Professional, self-motivated, team player with strong collaboration skills.

Compensation:

$250,000 to $285,000 per year

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state's law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
