We are seeking a motivated and talented Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for: Designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated software applications using C#, WPF, and .NET 8.0. Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to define project requirements and create innovative software solutions. Optimizing code for performance, scalability, and maintainability. Conducting code reviews and mentoring junior engineers. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep our solutions cutting-edge. Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. Contributing to the enhancement of our development processes and practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on C#, WPF, and WinForms. Proficiency in .NET 8.0 and familiarity with the .NET ecosystem. Experience with multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel programming. Solid understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other programming languages such as Python, Java, or Rust. Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with performance profiling and optimization tools. Working Conditions: This position primarily involves office, lab, and desk work with occasional field testing. Work may require occasional underground assignments. Be prepared to work near large moving machinery, with exposure to airborne particles and allergens. Safety gear such as hard hats, steel-toe shoes, and safety glasses is provided and mandatory. Some travel and flexibility with shifts may be required. Physical Requirements: Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, or crouch. May need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
