As a Business Intelligence Engineer in the AWS Analytics Engineering team, you will: Collaborate with business customers to understand their requirements and implement effective solutions for analytics and reporting. Design and develop reporting solutions that empower stakeholders to make informed business decisions. Enhance analytical tools to provide customers with timely, flexible access to their data. Create an analytical environment using third-party and proprietary reporting tools, building dashboards and reports as needed. Innovate by developing Generative AI agents that assist in meeting various business needs. Provide training and documentation to ensure business stakeholders maximize the benefits of self-serve reporting tools. To be successful in this role, you should have: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, along with several years of relevant experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience with data warehouse architectures, ETL/ELT processes, and reporting/analytic tools. Expertise in relational and star schema data modeling concepts, and a solid command of SQL and PL/SQL. Experience delivering large IT BI projects for at least 2 years and working in extensive data warehouse environments. Familiarity with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift. We prioritize maintaining fault-tolerant systems to minimize disturbances, ensuring our team can work collaboratively to address any root causes for issues that arise. Our competitive compensation reflects various geographic markets, with base pay ranging from $89,600 to $185,000 per year, depending on location, experience, and other job-related factors.
