Our commitment is to ensure that customers enjoy the best possible connectivity and smart home experience. Key Responsibilities: Author Terraform scripts to create and manage data systems in AWS. Collaborate with application developers to deploy and optimize applications on Kubernetes and Kafka. Develop and maintain Open Policy Agent policies to enforce best practices and secure systems. Design monitoring and alerting systems to drive operational improvements and minimize incidents. Participate in the team on-call rotation. A Day in the Life: As a valuable member of our team, you will build and maintain the infrastructure that supports high-volume real-time data systems, providing insights into eero device performance and fleet behavior. You will enable other engineering teams at eero to create and deploy their data-driven services securely and at scale. About the Team: eero's Partner Engineering team develops tailored solutions to assist businesses in adopting eero's hardware and software. They interact directly with customers to assess needs and ensure successful integrations into their environments. As a Systems Engineer, you will ensure that our AWS infrastructure is production-ready and support customers with documentation, SDKs, CDK templates, and additional resources. Basic Qualifications: Proven experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust. Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build processes. Preferred Qualifications: Background in working with distributed systems at scale. Compensation: The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, we offer various benefits and forms of compensation to create a comprehensive package.
