Join the Amazon Key team and play a key role in transforming our customer delivery experience. We are seeking a dedicated Business Intelligence Engineer II to guide the future of Key for Business through impactful data insights.
As a successful candidate, you will:
Create and optimize data structures to support business objectives.
Identify and analyze KPIs that drive decisions across the organization.
Generate comprehensive reports and communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences.
Utilize strong SQL skills to manipulate and extract data from various databases including Redshift, MySQL, and Oracle.
Employ scripting skills in Python or similar languages to mine data from log files.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and drive strategic initiatives.
In this highly visible role, you will:
Design and support platforms for ad hoc data access.
Develop analytical tools, dashboards, and metrics for performance evaluation.
Conduct root cause analyses and deep-dive investigations into business questions.
Work with engineering teams to enhance data capture and storage methodologies.
Propose new metrics and identify actionable risk signals for continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with data analysis and interpretation using platforms such as Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
Proficient in data visualization tools like Tableau or Quicksight.
Experienced in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline development.
Familiar with statistical analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Matlab.
Strong SQL skills for database queries and proficient scripting skills in Python.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AWS solutions including EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
Background in data mining and handling large, complex datasets in a business context.
This position is located in Austin, TX or Seattle, WA. Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to one of these cities.
