Position Summary
Join our team as a Mainframe Systems Programmer specializing in CICS, where you will deliver exceptional software support to our mainframe clients. This role involves working closely with our clients and collaborating with internal teams to optimize and maintain CICS systems.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to customer service requests for CICS TS and related OEM software products.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CICS TS and OEM software products.
Provide around-the-clock support across multiple time zones.
Efficiently install OEM software products in line with best practices and Ensono standards.
Assist in migrating services for new customers regarding CICS TS and related OEM products.
Collaborate with Disaster Recovery Services to execute customer disaster recovery plans.
Manage resources effectively while adhering to schedule for timely implementations.
Follow ITSM change control procedures for implementing product fixes, upgrades, and new options for z/OS products.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Over 5 years of experience on the zSeries (mainframe) platform with hands-on technical skills in CICS TS installation and maintenance.
In-depth knowledge of CICS TS capabilities, installation, and configuration.
Extensive experience with IBM's SMP/E.
Strong analytical skills related to CICS TS concepts and configurations.
Familiarity with monitoring tools for CICS TS performance.
Ability to advise clients on enhancing application performance and throughput.
Proficient with monitoring tools to minimize issues and outages.
Preferred Qualifications
Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
Effective at multi-tasking under tight deadlines and in high-pressure situations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Team player as well as an independent contributor.
Experience with MF MQ on zOS is a plus.
Familiarity with MF WAS (Websphere Application Server) for zOS is a plus.
