Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Senior ML Compiler Engineer in the AWS Neuron team, responsible for cutting-edge innovation in machine learning accelerators. AWS Neuron is a powerful software stack that integrates with popular frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and JAX to enhance ML training and inference performance. The AWS Machine Learning accelerators are pivotal in developing Generative AI, with the Inferentia chip providing unmatched ML inference performance and Trainium optimizing ML training capabilities. As you work with various industry leaders, including Snap, Autodesk, and Amazon Alexa, you will be on the forefront of transforming the ML landscape. In this role, you will: Develop and scale a deep learning compiler stack for high-performance ML workloads. Design and implement critical features as part of the Neuron Compiler team. Publish innovative research and collaborate closely with AWS ML services teams. Engage in pre-silicon design, driving new product features from conception to market. Utilize your background in compiler development and technical communication to tackle challenging projects and meet ambitious performance goals. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in system design or architecture. 2+ years of compiler development experience, focusing on features and optimizations. Proficient in one or more programming languages, ideally C++ (preferred), C, or Python. Preferred Qualifications: Master's or PhD in computer science or related field. Expertise in resource management, scheduling, code generation, and compute graph optimization. Experience optimizing models in TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX. Familiarity with various toolchains and Instruction Set Architectures. Location for this position includes options in Cupertino, Seattle, or Austin.
