As a Senior Software Development Engineer specializing in Multimedia, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of media technologies for our cutting-edge devices. Your focus will be on enhancing the quality of end-to-end (E2E) processes and collaborating with various teams to deliver best-in-class multimedia solutions. You will also engage in researching new technologies, developing tools, and establishing processes that support the next generation of media systems. Your Responsibilities: Conduct research, design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance of both new and existing multimedia systems. Create software services and tools to enhance the software development lifecycle and drive quality improvements. Collaborate closely with application teams to integrate audio and video components within FireOS. Manage the development process from concept through to launch, ensuring top-notch quality for your deliverables. Impact:

You will have a significant opportunity to influence the design, architecture, and implementation of groundbreaking products used daily by people around the world. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of professional software development experience. 5+ years programming experience in at least one software programming language. 5+ years leading design or architecture of new and existing systems, with a focus on design patterns, reliability, and scaling. Experience mentoring, leading tech teams, or acting as a tech lead. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, covering coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operational responsibilities. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
