The Role
We are in search of an experienced Senior Product Owner to take a pivotal role in guiding the vision and execution of our Lumen Security & NaaS products. In this key position, you will collaborate closely with Product Management, Architecture, and various development teams to establish our product roadmap and deliver outstanding solutions for our customers.
Main Responsibilities:
Collaborate with diverse teams to explore and determine optimal solutions for business challenges, evaluating cost/benefit analyses against the long-term roadmap.
Work hand-in-hand with business partners and technical staff to create innovative solutions that satisfy both business and technical requirements.
Act as the primary liaison among stakeholders, customers, and development teams to ensure alignment of products with market needs.
Develop, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with organizational objectives and customer expectations.
Create clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to empower development teams to deliver top-quality features.
Guide all aspects of the Scrum process, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
Support development teams during AWS migration efforts, ensuring product requirements are consistent with cloud architecture.
Lead the evolution of product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our security and NaaS offerings.
What We Look For in a Candidate:
6+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Developer in telecommunications or network technology.
Proven success in leading complex products through the entire lifecycle of development.
Strong comprehension of Scrum methodology and experience as a Product Owner in Agile settings.
Experience with APIs and their significance in product architecture.
Excellent communication skills and adeptness at managing stakeholder relationships.
Ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and business needs for technical teams.
Familiarity with networking concepts, automation, and trends within the telecommunications industry.
Experience using backlog management and user story writing tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is as follows: $103,711 - $138,281 in various states including AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY. $108,896 - $145,195 in states like CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI. $114,082 - $152,109 in locations such as AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA. Lumen also provides a comprehensive benefits package to promote your physical, mental, emotional, and financial well-being.
