Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure Development

Responsibilities: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product, design, operations, and infrastructure. Develop custom user interfaces utilizing the latest programming techniques and technologies. Analyze and optimize code for quality, efficiency, and performance; provide constructive feedback during code reviews. Lead major initiatives, setting direction and goals for teams, while also offering technical guidance and mentorship. Architect scalable and efficient systems that support complex applications. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges, while contributing to efforts to minimize technical debt. Work proficiently with a diverse range of programming languages and technologies. Establish ownership and maintain an expert understanding of components, features, or systems. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of programming experience in a relevant language OR 4+ years with a PhD. Proven experience in leading complex technical projects and driving change within an organization. Ability to utilize data and analysis to identify technical issues and propose detailed solutions. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, or Java, as well as scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Hack. Experience enhancing quality through thoughtful code reviews, proactive testing, and effective monitoring. 6+ years of relevant experience developing large-scale infrastructure applications. Compensation:
