Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain our enterprise
Databricks Workspace governance platform using Azure and Databricks
technologies. The ideal candidate will leverage terraform, GitHub action, and other
Azure services to automate the provisioning and management of Databricks
workspaces. The data engineer will also be responsible for automating auditing and
compliance features across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement end-to-end workspace deployment pipelines
Assist teams with setting up or being added to new Databricks workspaces
Enable users with access to new Databricks functionality
Manage and govern existing workspace
Develop processes and automating for auditing
Track compute resources and cost across the enterprise
Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies
Write efficient SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction and
transformation
Compensation:
$50/hr to $60/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors, Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Mathematics,
Statistics, or related feld
3-5+ years of experience in data engineering roles
3-5+ years of cloud development experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP) in an
enterprise environment
Strong proficiency in SQL for complex data manipulation and querying
Experience with data large-scale data processing
1+ years of Databricks experience
Demonstrated experience of working autonomously, resolving road blockers
as need. Understanding of data governance and compliance requirements
Experience partnering with cloud security teams
Ambition and a desire to solve complex problems null
