As we venture into immersive experiences like augmented and virtual reality, we are looking for a dedicated User Experience Research Specialist to contribute to our mission of evolving social technology. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with product teams to uncover crucial research topics. Design comprehensive studies to explore user behavior and attitudes. Generate actionable insights that drive ideation and evaluate design concepts. Conduct various research methods including 1:1 interviews, focus groups, diary studies, field studies, usability tests, and surveys. Work cross-functionally with stakeholders in design, product management, content design, data science, engineering, and marketing. Effectively communicate research findings and illustrate recommendations in engaging and creative formats. Embed within product or program teams to perform applied research on user behaviors, motivations, and attitudes toward our products. Regularly conduct qualitative research to influence organizational strategy, product direction, and feature creation. Analyze user data using thematic analysis, persona development, journey mapping, and surveys. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, or a related field. At least two years of experience in user experience research or related roles. Proven ability to translate complex product questions into actionable research plans. Experience in creating research instruments including surveys and usability tests. Skills in managing research operations, including participant recruitment and vendor coordination. Expertise in collecting and analyzing user insights through various qualitative and quantitative methods. Proficient in communicating research results through data storytelling and design recommendations. Experience advocating for the implementation of research findings at team and organizational levels. Compensation:
