As a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to leverage advanced technology to enhance customer experiences and revolutionize transportation. This role is crucial for shaping the Ford Reservation Services into a standard for exceptional digital experiences related to vehicle service appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with talented software engineers to create innovative software solutions.
Develop features iteratively in a pair-programming environment.
Gather user feedback regularly to drive feature creation.
Contribute to a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous learning.
Maintain a work-life balance while leading advancements in automotive technology.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience with clean code principles like test-driven development (TDD) and continuous refactoring.
Proficiency in front-end languages such as JavaScript/Typescript and familiarity with Java.
Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or VueJs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of web and mobile accessibility standards (WCAG compliance).
Experience with Behavior Driven Development.
Mechanical and engineering empathy.
A strong desire to work closely with UI/UX designers.
