What You'll Do:
Lead teams in implementing complex technical solutions using Appian and related technologies.
Advise clients on Agile practices, quality assurance, and governance for multi-application platform integrations.
Support design, development, and testing activities across diverse client projects.
Oversee large-scale implementation teams comprised of multiple development pods.
Guide clients on architecture design, scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other technical initiatives to ensure success.
Create and document best practices for implementation and knowledge sharing within the team.
Provide thought leadership on process improvements and support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools.
Mentor and enable resources through training and guidance.
Who We Are Looking For:
We seek experienced Appian Consultants who can lead our delivery teams and act as trusted advisors to our clients. Principal Appian Consultants play a vital role in scaling our business by offering expert guidance on solution delivery and the design of innovative Appian solutions tailored to our clients' architectures. You will mentor teams on best practices for advanced technical solutions, tackle technically demanding Appian projects, and implement efficient internal processes and tools.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience with Appian solutions.
5+ years in IT-related roles.
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or similar fields.
Active Lead Certification.
Expertise in Appian delivery using Agile methodologies.
Strong design, implementation, and problem-solving capabilities.
Exceptional communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly both verbally and in writing; strong analytical and strategic thinking.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and capacity to thrive in fast-paced environments; ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Experience with RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL/MariaDB).
Knowledge of web services, integrations, and middleware (e.g., RESTful/SOAP, Mule/IIB/Fusion).
Must be a U.S. Citizen (no dual citizenship) and possess an Active Clearance or be clearable.
Preferred Skills:
UI/UX Design.
Cloud computing/IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Authentication (e.g., SAML, Kerberos, OAuth, LDAP).
Data management and visualization/BI.
DevSecOps and Configuration Management.
Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $128,590.00 - $180,783.00, influenced by several factors including skills, experience, training, and organizational needs. Compensation decisions vary based on individual circumstances.
