The Inspector performs initial and final inspections on machines brought in for repair in a manner that reflects the company’s vision of working as “One Professional Team.”
Pay Rate:
$31.00 - $40.48 per hour Pay rate is dependent upon education & experience.
Essential Functions:

Writes up inspection report Quotes profit and loss for repair of equipment and reviews report with Shop Coordinator Picks up clean cards and delivers machine to steam rack Schedules machine and priority on the board When necessary, consults with Shop Manager on the writing of the inspection report Goes over machine inspection with customer to get customer’s OK for repairs Performs an operational and visual inspection on machines before and after repair work is completed Performs necessary tasks to repair or make adjustments on machine Other duties as assigned by manager Supervisory Responsibilities:
In some instances, performs Lead duties in Lead’s absence, or as workload requires Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED Journey-level technician with 10+ years’ experience in heavy equipment repair industry 3+ years administrative/clerical experience 5+ years customer service experience Physical Demands & Competencies:
Standing, walking, talking, sitting, use of hands & hearing Squatting/Kneeling Ability to ascend/descend ladders, stairs, etc. Medium work that includes lifting and/or moving objects up to 32 pounds or more Data Entry, telephone, reading/writing, reasoning, organizational, communication & math skills Safety & Product Knowledge Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision Ability to work well under pressure Knowledge of Wagner Equipment Co.’s various departments’ operating practices preferred Intermediate knowledge of DBS and CRM/Sales Link Advanced knowledge of ET/SIS/SIS Web/STW Work Environment:
Noise: Loud Indoors and Outdoors
