AWS Nitro includes custom hardware and software designed to provide security and performance on par with bare-metal solutions. We are seeking experienced engineers who can contribute to the re-imagination of virtualization infrastructure. As a member of the Nitro team, you will play a pivotal role in developing key features including: Advanced hardware that offloads and accelerates IO processing Security chips enabling the most secure cloud platform available Lightweight hypervisors for effective management of memory and CPU allocation If you're looking to shape the future of one of AWS's fastest-growing products, we would love to hear from you! Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 2+ years of design or architecture experience for new and existing systems Proficiency in at least one programming language Preferred Qualifications: 3+ years of comprehensive software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, and testing Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field This position will require you to work collaboratively and adhere to standards of excellence while managing stress and delivering exceptional customer service. The compensation for this role ranges from $129,300 to $223,600, depending on geographic market factors and individual qualifications.
