Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a dedicated Security Systems Engineer to join our global engineering team. You will innovate and develop top-tier security systems for AWS data centers, emphasizing challenge, innovation, and design. Our aim is to achieve world-class uptime for our customers while continuously improving and advancing our solutions. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in security systems design and development. As a Security Systems Engineer, you will: Design, configure, and troubleshoot security systems including IP surveillance cameras, access control systems, and intrusion detection systems. Ensure security best practices are integrated into data center designs. Create technical specifications and build plans for security system implementations. Lead complex integration projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders. Evaluate new security technologies and recommend solutions that enhance facility protection. Your Daily Responsibilities:
You will work alongside your teammates to manage projects, communicate design issues, and remain customer-focused. You'll foster collaboration among internal teams and external partners to continuously improve our solutions. Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Security, or related field. 2+ years of experience in security systems integration or hardware development. Strong background in IP networking and communication protocols used in physical security systems. Experience with enterprise security solutions (Access Control, Video Management, Intrusion Detection). Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in a relevant field or professional Security certifications. Familiarity with AutoCAD, building management systems, and cloud security architectures. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Travel Requirements:
