Join a forward-thinking team as a Data Scientist specializing in Controls Engineering. We are looking for a driven and analytical professional with at least 3 years of experience harnessing IIoT data from manufacturing systems, particularly with Rockwell PLCs and VFDs, to enhance operational performance and create intelligent solutions.
In this role, you will immerse yourself in the complete data science lifecycle, from data ingestion via MQTT and cloud processing on Google Cloud Platform to advanced machine learning modeling using Python and SQL. You will also be tasked with building interactive UIs and dashboards that showcase actionable insights for smart factory initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Utilize programming languages such as Python (including libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and more) and SQL for advanced querying and optimization.
Work with Google Cloud Platform services, including BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, and Dataflow.
Leverage protocols like MQTT and engage in ETL/ELT processes for data cleaning and integration.
Apply your expertise in manufacturing controls, specifically within the Rockwell Automation ecosystem.
Implement machine learning techniques for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and process optimization.
Design and develop engaging dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries.
Participate in collaborative cross-functional team efforts to deliver insights and enhance business strategy.
Create clear reports and visual presentations of your analytical results to share with diverse audiences.
What You Bring:
A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
3+ years of hands-on experience in advanced data analytics and model development.
Strong proficiency in programming languages and tools, including Python, R, and SQL.
Expertise in machine learning methodologies, including predictive modeling and clustering.
Exceptional skills in managing structured and unstructured datasets effectively.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas simply.
