Key Responsibilities:
Develop complex queries for ad hoc requests and ongoing reporting.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, and dashboards that meet our analytical and business needs.
Implement and support key datasets that provide structured access to actionable business information.
Engage directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and own automated end-to-end reporting solutions.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and software development engineers to create comprehensive data solutions.
Simplify and automate reporting processes to maximize efficiency and self-service capabilities.
Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon's data resources and effectively integrate them into your work.
Estimate models, write analyses, and extract insights to provide strategic business recommendations.
About the Team:
We serve AMZL's Learning teams as strategic leaders, driving transformative solutions that leverage technology and processes to enhance learning outcomes while reducing operational costs.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data with tools like Redshift, Oracle, or NoSQL.
Proficiency in data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar platforms.
Experience in data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
Familiarity with statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, or Matlab.
Skilled in using SQL to extract data from databases and scripting (Python) for data processing.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
Background in data mining, ETL processes, and working with large-scale, complex datasets in a business environment.

The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market, contingent upon knowledge, skills, and experience.
