Amazon Web Services is seeking a talented Solutions Architect to support our US Government customers. If you enjoy helping U.S. Intelligence Community agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions and tackle technical challenges, we want you on our team! This role involves using the latest cloud computing technologies while focusing on application architectures and integration approaches. You'll have the opportunity to be part of our business development team, contributing to establishing AWS as a leading technology platform. In this position, your technical expertise and interpersonal skills will be key in crafting highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that resolve customer business problems and foster AWS service adoption. As a trusted advocate for our customers, you will: Formulate and execute a sales strategy alongside the sales team to exceed revenue objectives. Educate and guide customers on advanced cloud-based solutions and best practices. Conduct training sessions to share knowledge and enhance customer understanding of AWS. Collaborate closely with AWS sales and engineering teams, driving success in building and migrating applications to the AWS platform. Create and share best practices and reusable content, including whitepapers. Foster deep relationships with senior technical personnel at customers to empower them as cloud advocates. Serve as a technical liaison among customers, service engineering teams, and support. To thrive in this role, you should possess: 12+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, or systems engineering. A strong ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level executives. Experience in developing technology solutions and executing end-to-end technology roadmaps. Current, active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP. 5+ years in a technical leadership role such as Principal Solutions Architect or CTO. Expertise in architecting and migrating infrastructure solutions on both Linux/Unix and Windows platforms. Familiarity with Federal Government security requirements like ICD 503, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
