The Role As a Senior Cloud Security Architect at Lumen, you will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and maintaining security architectures across diverse cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, GCP, and Oracle. Your expertise will ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of the systems and data we host in the cloud. You will engage with multidisciplinary teams to create robust security solutions that adhere to industry standards and compliance requirements. Main Responsibilities: Develop and maintain comprehensive security architectures for public cloud solutions. Evaluate and recommend Web Application Firewall (WAF) services and security controls to safeguard cloud environments and API services. Collaborate with development, operations, and infrastructure teams to integrate security controls throughout the software development lifecycle. Research and endorse security tools and technologies to strengthen the security posture of cloud-based applications. Establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud environments and API services. Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure our security architectures align with regulatory standards. Mentor and guide fellow members of the security and technology teams on cloud security best practices. Stay informed about emerging security trends, vulnerabilities, and best practices, making recommendations to adapt our security strategies accordingly. What We're Looking For: Proven experience as a Security Architect, particularly in cloud security solutions. Deep knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, and GCP, along with their security features. Experience in API security, covering authentication, authorization, and defense against common vulnerabilities. Familiarity with configuring Web Application Firewall (WAF) solutions for application protection. Strong grasp of security principles, encryption techniques, network security, and authentication protocols. Excellent communication skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Outstanding problem-solving abilities to analyze complex security challenges and propose solutions.
