Data Center Technician
Location: Columbus, Ohio Schedule: Monday Friday | 40 Hours/Week Job Type: On-site About the Role: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Center Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for individuals with trade school training or experience in the low voltage field to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced data center environment. This is not an entry-level position. Data center experience is required to be considered for this role. Key Responsibilities
Install, route, and terminate fiber optic and copper cabling Perform structured cabling and cable management according to industry standards Assist with racking and stacking of servers and network equipment Conduct basic testing and troubleshooting of installed cabling Maintain a clean and organized work environment Follow safety protocols and work closely with lead technicians and project managers Skills & Experience
Trade school certification or experience in the low voltage field Familiarity with data center environments and structured cabling systems Hands-on experience or knowledge in: Cable installation Fiber Optic Cabling Structured Cabling CATV Access Control Systems Telecommunications Cat5 and Cat6 Cabling Cable Pulling Cable Tech / Cable Puller Roles Ability to use hand tools and basic testing equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces or on ladders Excellent communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a data center or similar technical environment Industry certifications (e.g., BICSI, FOA, CompTIA) are a plus Why Join Us?

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
