The Creator Growth Mobile Team is dedicated to enhancing the experiences of our creators. As a Mid-Level Android Engineer at Twitch, you'll spearhead crucial projects aimed at empowering our creators and delivering engaging functionalities. In this role, you will collaborate with teams across the company to create remarkable user experiences and support creators' success. You Will: Collaborate with product managers, technical leads, and fellow engineers to design, develop, launch, and refine exceptional experiences and products. Deliver high-quality user experiences on both Web and Mobile interfaces. Engage with your team and other related teams to foster a shared understanding in solving problems and delivering solutions. Utilize a customer-focused approach to drive impactful business results. Mentor and develop engineering talent within the team. Experience in building consumer-facing products at scale. Proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and contemporary Android development. Strong ability to design and deliver quality user experiences. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Familiarity with GraphQL APIs, CI/CD, or AWS. Experience with mobile video playback, video compression, or streaming technologies. This position can be based in San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; Irvine, CA; or New York, NY.
