Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Sitework Project Manager to lead our dynamic construction team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of sitework projects, ensuring successful completion from inception to final handover. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing complex projects, delivering quality results, and fostering client satisfaction. Job Responsibilities
Oversee the planning, coordination, and implementation of sitework construction projects from inception to completion
Manage budgets, timelines, and project resources to ensure work is completed on time and within financial constraints
Supervise and evaluate the performance of construction staff and subcontractors to ensure quality standards and contractual requirements are met
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists to ensure project specifications and building codes are adhered to
Develop and implement safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory bodies
Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to keep them informed on project progress and address any concerns
Negotiate contracts and change orders with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
Identify, mitigate, and manage risks that could impact project timelines, costs, or quality
Ensure that all necessary permits and licenses for construction are obtained and maintained
Review and approve project designs, materials, and work schedules
Implement quality control measures to ensure the project meets or exceeds expectations
Facilitate problem-solving and conflict resolution among project team members and stakeholders
Prepare and present detailed reports on project status, including budget, schedule, and progress updates
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in heavy civil construction and site development
Proven track record of managing large-scale sitework projects from conception to completion
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations
Experience with budget management, cost estimating, and fiscal reporting
Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and other construction documents
Strong negotiation skills with subcontractors and suppliers
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Competent in conflict and crisis management
Familiarity with OSHA construction site safety standards and regulations
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Availability to travel to various job sites as required
