GovCIO
Overview: GovCIO is currently seeking a Senior Network and Systems Administrator to take charge of designing, implementing, and maintaining the operating system environments for the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) IT Infrastructure Support Services (ITIS). This is an onsite position located in Washington, DC and is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain robust OS environments for Federal agencies.
Ensure OS performance, reliability, and security through effective configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
Manage both Windows and Linux operating systems, performing updates, patches, and user permissions.
Support automation of system tasks through effective scripting.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate OS components with application software for seamless operation; troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operational tasks.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field. Required:
Current ITIL Foundation and/or Practitioner v.4 certifications. Desired:
