has an exciting new opportunity to join our organization as a

Senior Program Manager

! This role will manage large-scale control system programs from beginning to end, with direct responsibility for program execution while leading a team, or teams, to accomplish objectives within established cost and schedule constraints by establishing clear roles and responsibilities, creating a work breakdown plans, and developing and managing master schedules.

You will leverage your background in both project leadership and technical product/system development to help deliver continuously improving customer experiences around our products and services through the innovative control system programs you lead. You will achieve success by leading well with influence as opposed to direct authority, dealing well with ambiguity and leading the team through it effectively, advocating and removing obstacles for the team, and maintaining a proactive, problem-solving mindset, all while keeping the teams motivated and engaged.

Where is the work:

This position has been designated as a

hybrid

work schedule with work performed onsite 3 days each week in

Bloomington, MN

.

What you will do:

Leads, from concept to launch, complex programs delivering innovative control systems to be leveraged by multiple business units globally within cost, schedule, and quality targets

Leads the collaboration with program sponsors, business units, multiple functions at the business and enterprise levels, etc. to ensure program objectives balance stakeholder needs and deliver results efficiently

Identify, negotiate, and resolve priority conflicts and drive to aligned decisions

Leads the development and manages key program deliverables including a program charter, scope, requirements, schedule, risk, etc.

Works closely with a cross-functional, multi-product, global team to develop control systems within a hybrid Stage-Gate and Agile product development process

Ensure all functional teams including hardware, firmware, software, algorithms, systems, validation, digital/telematics, etc. are working cohesively together to deliver a comprehensive, cohesive, high-quality control system by analyzing project data, monitoring process adherence, etc.

Provide executive visibility to project, program, portfolio and functional level status, issues, risks, costs through periodic presentations and a formal escalation methodology

Influence and drive alignment of consistent practices across product teams, business units, etc.

Ability to travel 10-20%

What you will bring:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business (or similar technical discipline) and multi-project initiatives required

Demonstrated experience leading cross functional teams and communicating effectively with VP level leaders required

At least 10 years of demonstrated project/program execution is required

PMI Certification is required. May be pursued after hire.

Experience managing and influencing cross-functional teams of experts, outside direct reporting

Ability to get results through influencing others

Excellent project management/planning skills including critical path identification and management, risk management including mitigations, contingencies, and triggers, etc.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $117,150 - 165,000

Total compensation for this role will include an incentive plan.
