We are looking for a talented SAP Basis Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in SAP system administration, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance. You will manage SAP landscapes, ensuring optimal system performance while taking ownership of the infrastructure critical to Project Kuiper, including engineering applications, AWS Cloud Infrastructure, and local servers. Key Responsibilities: Monitor system performance, ensuring uptime, scalability, and reliability of applications and infrastructure. Analyze current infrastructure capacity and forecast future needs to support organizational growth. Provide day-to-day support for existing SAP S/4, MES MII, GTS, PO, HANA DB, and other SAP applications on AWS Cloud infrastructure. Perform basis administrator configuration activities for new enhancement requests from business and support teams. Conduct SAP application installations and upgrades, as well as patching activities at both OS and DB levels. Set up and enhance system monitoring and alert mechanisms to ensure system health. Handle support tickets from end users and product owners. Troubleshoot issues with job scheduling, transport management, and printer administration. Perform system refreshes, transport management, OSS notes validations, and installation. Enhance and support high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions. Maintain architecture documentation and runbooks for all infrastructure and networking components. Participate actively in Agile/Scrum processes, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on test progress, issues, and resolutions. A Day in the Life: As an SAP Basis administrator, you will find yourself involved in a variety of activities critical for maintaining the SAP system infrastructure. Your day may include applying security patches, troubleshooting performance issues, planning system upgrades, and performing database maintenance tasks. Balancing proactive maintenance and reactive problem-solving will be key to ensuring the SAP landscape is running efficiently and securely. Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of SAP Basis administration experience, with at least 3+ years managing SAP systems on AWS. Hands-on experience with HANA, NetWeaver, Fiori, SSO using Kerberos, SAML, and SLS. Experience with Solution Manager including Change Management, Configuration, Wily, Integration, and Monitoring. Strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Cloud Watch, and Cloud Formation. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CDK for infrastructure automation. Hands-on experience managing and configuring SAP systems on AWS cloud, especially EC2, VPCs, S3, and Load Balancers. Strong hands-on experience in the installation and administration of SAP Java Stack systems with NWA and Configuration tools. Experience with hybrid SAP deployments, both on-premises and in the cloud. Strong project management and leadership skills for large-scale SAP implementation. AWS Certified Solution Architect and SAP Certification preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is influenced by factors such as market location and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
