Job Summary
The Senior Manager of Cybersecurity will lead a team of skilled Information Security professionals, driving efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while safeguarding the company's information assets. Reporting to the Director of Information Security, this role collaborates closely with various teams including IT & Operations, Privacy, Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, and across business lines.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Development:
Recruit, train, and mentor a talented team of information security experts, supporting their growth and professional development. Collaboration and Communication:
Partner with internal groups to create and implement strategic plans for information security, effectively communicating goals and expectations to stakeholders. Process and Project Management:
Oversee the design and execution of key IT projects related to the organization’s long-term security strategy, ensuring robust processes are in place. Operational Effectiveness:
Establish and maintain internal processes to optimize team effectiveness. Document processes, managing budgets, and analyze data to drive performance metrics. Subject Matter Expertise:
Stay ahead of trends in IT tools and practices, particularly in areas like Networking, Vulnerability Management, and Cybersecurity Tooling while ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks. Working Conditions:
This position is based in a normal office environment, requiring occasional onsite presence 3-4 days per month. Flexibility is expected to meet business needs, including potential work outside standard hours. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Professional technical certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, Security+, CDPSE) or the ability to obtain within 12 months. A minimum of eight years of work experience in Information Security, IT Audit, or Risk Management. Management experience of 5-7 years is preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Privileged Access Management (PAM) and experience with AWS PAM/PIM. Background in designing and managing Identity Access Management solutions. Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $133,500.00 - $241,900.00 based on experience and location.
