As a Developer Advocate on our Developer Productivity team, you will:
Create comprehensive technical content showcasing Amazon Q Developer and related AI development tools.
Develop in-depth video tutorials, live coding demonstrations, and detailed implementation guides to assist developers in integrating these tools into their daily workflows.
Focus on long-form technical content that presents complete problem-solving scenarios such as modernizing legacy applications or building full-stack architectures.
Deliver practical workflows and technical demonstrations across multiple programming languages to cater to frontend developers, backend engineers, and full-stack teams.
Engage within developer forums and authentic technical discussions to identify gaps in developer needs and tooling capabilities.
Collaborate with engineering teams to influence product roadmaps based on real developer feedback and contribute to open-source projects.
A typical day may involve reviewing feedback on your latest tutorial, building live coding demos, or preparing for a conference talk. You will work closely with product teams and engage in community discussions to develop content that addresses real developer pain points.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
4+ years of software development experience building production applications.
Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants in real development workflows.
Strong programming skills in multiple languages, especially Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Java.
Experience creating technical content and engaging with developer communities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience building developer tools, CLI applications, or IDE extensions.
Proven track record of impactful technical video content and speaking engagement at major developer conferences.
Familiarity with cloud-native development patterns and modern workflows.
Contributions to open-source projects focused on developer productivity.
Experience mentoring developers with outstanding communication and problem-solving skills.
