We integrate large language models (LLMs) with reinforcement learning (RL) to tackle complex reasoning, planning, and world modeling challenges in both virtual and physical environments.
As part of Amazon's expansive AGI organization, we're progressing on exciting projects like Amazon Nova, which features state-of-the-art foundation models (FMs). We seek driven individuals to help shape our lab and directly contribute to AI agent development in this research engineering role.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute experiments and build tools to enhance scientific workflows.
Scale AI systems to support pioneering research initiatives.
Collaborate within a talent-dense team while having the autonomy to innovate and take risks.
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of industry experience in a machine learning environment.
Proficient in Python, Java, C++, or similar programming languages.
Experience with deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch or JAX.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in building and optimizing production-grade AI systems for applications like self-driving technology, simulations, or LLMs.
Willingness to take on diverse tasks and challenges, from coding to designing experiments and analyzing results.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a small team to advance research goals.
