Join us as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer within AWS Professional Services, where you'll create transformative software solutions centered around complex Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems. In this role, you will: Collaborate closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AI/ML and Generative AI (GenAI) solutions tailored to their needs. Lead project teams through the end-to-end implementation of AI/ML projects, ensuring high-quality delivery from data preparation to model development and deployment. Design and build scalable and secure ML pipelines using AWS services, with a focus on operational excellence in MLOps. Work cross-functionally with teams such as Applied Science, DevOps, and Data Engineering to operationalize AI/ML models and data processes. Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding customers on current industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AI/ML. Mentor colleagues and share knowledge through training sessions and creating reusable resources within our organization. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered. 8+ years of hands-on experience leading technical teams in data, software, or ML engineering. 5+ years of experience developing predictive models, natural language processing, and deep learning. Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL and Python, with at least one additional language like Java or Scala. Experience with ML frameworks, including TensorFlow and PyTorch. Preferred Qualifications: AWS experience and proficiency with services like SageMaker and EC2. AWS Professional certifications. Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools. Knowledge of security and compliance standards such as HIPAA and GDPR. Strong communication skills to articulate complex concepts to various audiences.
