Cardiology Physician - Michigan Locums, No Supervision Required
General/Invasive Cardiology assignment in Michigan; clinic, inpatient, and procedures included.
Highlights
- No supervision required; autonomy from day one
- Minimum 2 weeks/month; preference for 3+ weeks
Practice Setting
- Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding
- EPIC and Dragon used for charting and dictation
- APP support (1 APP on maternity leave in October)
Schedule
- Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
- 1:2 call rotation required; includes weekend coverage
- Orientation paid separately
Cases and Procedures
- New and established patient visits
- Imaging and testing reads
- May include diagnostic caths, TEE, cardioversions, and loop implants
- 50 case logs required from past 12 months
Requirements
- Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years of training)
- Active Michigan license or IMLC LOQ
- ACLS and BLS required
