Locum Tenens - OB/GYN HospitalistMonroe, New York Assignment Overview
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract Length: Ongoing
  • Minimum Availability: 3-4 weeks per month required
Schedule
  • Weekly Coverage:
  • 1x 24-hour hospital call shift/week (onsite - not pager)
  • 2x 8-hour clinic shifts/week (Monday-Friday)
  • Call Room: Onsite sleep room next to L&D for 24-hour call coverage Clinical Setting & Patient Volume
    • Setting: Community health centers & Good Samaritan Hospital for deliveries
    • Avg. Patients/Day: 14 (appointments every 30 minutes)
    • Patient Population: Primarily teens & adults
    • Annual Deliveries: 1,500
    • EMR: eClinicalWorks
    Support Staff
    • 5 OB providers
    • Midwife support
    • LPN, MA, receptionist available on Sundays
    • Additional physicians onsite for collaborative support
    Required Qualifications
    • Board Certified in OB/GYN - Required (No BE)
    • Active New York Medical License - Required
    • DEA - Required
